We sell a range of the notable Estwing Geological Hammers, manufactured in the USA. The hammers come in different sizes and weights. Apart from Estwing Geological Hammers, we also sell Whitehouse/Footprint Hammers, manufactured in Sheffield Egland. Like the Estwing hammers, Whitehouse/Footprint Hammers also come a variety of weight and sizes. Hammers in this section all have a chisel edge on one side, perfect for prying rock apart.
A chisel edge rock hammer is the most commonly used type of geological hammer. It is a general purpose hammer suitable for rock splitting and extraction of samples. Like other Estwing products, the hammer is cast in a single piece of steel, and has an anti-shock reduction rubber grip handle.
