Metamorphic rocks are igneous or sedimentry rocks which have been altered by high temperature, strong pressure or a combination of both. Effectively, metamorphic rocks have been baked changing their appearence and texture. Rocks such as a shale becomes slate, sandstone becomes metaquartzite and limestone becomes marble. The rocks are trimmed down into the sizes which you select
