Cotham Marble is a thin, organically formed limestone which occurs in the upper most Triassic (rhaetic) of the Bristol region. The specimens shows distinctive 'tree' like structures which is due to the growth of alagae stromatolites. The size of the specimen is 27cm x 14 cm and weighs 1.5 kilos. A truly unique and uncommon specimen. The specimen comes a free acrylic stand.
