Our miscellaneous fossils are of fossil specimens which simply cannot be placed any where in our other fossil catogories. Such items are often rare and strange such as fossil weevil nests. Items here often tend to be sold quickly due to their unique nature, and we will usually only have a limited number of the items in hand.

These insects burrowed their nest in the lime stone where they laid their eggs then completely closed them only to be opened by the young insect when hatched.

Fossil Coprolite

Fossil Coprolite

Fossil Coprolites, also known as fossilised poo. These particular specimens are fossilised tutrtle droppings found in Betsiboka, Madagascar, and are from the Eocene period. We sell specimens in two sizes: Medium which are 10 - 12 cm or X Large which are 20 - 25 cm.
